Clinical recommendations
As part of its statutory tasks, the Agency:
- issues opinions on clinical recommendations developed by the scientific societies, i.a. in the field of diagnostics and treatment of neoplastic diseases;
- develops recommendations on the care organisation and patient pathways.
The processes and methods adopted by the Agency, both for issuing opinions on clinical practice guidelines and for developing them, are based on internationally recognised methodologies, standards and tools.
In order to support the authors and improve the quality of the guidelines developed in Poland, the Agency also undertakes activities related to the promotion of the most recognised tools, i.a. by participating in their translation into Polish.
