Thematic scope of the Transparency Council’s meetings
As a consultative and advisory body, the Transparency Council participates in numerous health technology assessment processes carried out by the Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Tariff System. The particular subjects to be discussed by the Council are set out in the Transparency Council’s work schedules, agreed upon between the President of the Agency and the President of the Transparency Council.
The Transparency Council’s work schedules are published in the Public Information Bulletin (Biuletyn Informacji Publicznej)
Factors independent of the Agency and the Transparency Council, such as:
- numerous orders of the Minister of Health with a short deadline for the Agency,
- or the suspension of administrative proceedings for reimbursement coverage at the request of the MAHs/applicants,
result in frequent changes introduced in the work schedule with regard to the final dates for presenting particular health technologies to the Transparency Council.
The current thematic scope of particular meetings of the Transparency Council is published in the Public Information Bulletin as part of the agenda of the Transparency Council.
The latest information on changes in the scope of topics discussed at particular Council’s meetings is available in the News tab.
