At its meeting on 6 February 2023, the Transparency Council adopted Position No. 16/2023 on the legitimacy of issuing reimbursement approvals for the medicine Xiaflex/Xiapex (collagenase clostridium histolyticum) for the indication Peyronie’s disease in a stable phase after ineffective treatment with ESWT, verapamil, dexamethasone, high doses of vitamin E, pentoxyphylline, phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors and mud baths.
