GBD 2019
The Global Burden of Disease 2019 (GBD) study, conducted by the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (Seattle, USA), is the most comprehensive medical study in the world.This edition analyzes the level of disease burden of 286 causes of death, 369 diseases and injuries, and 87 risk factors in 204 countries and territories. In Poland, this year’s edition of GBD is particularly important for a number of reasons. One of them is the translation of the GBD COMPARE tool into the Polish language and making the data visualization tool publicly available, which made it easier to compare and use the data.
